{"id":249752,"date":"2025-09-23T19:56:09","date_gmt":"2025-09-23T19:56:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/249752\/"},"modified":"2025-09-23T19:56:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-23T19:56:09","slug":"a-to-z-cat-coat-genetics-presentation-held-in-kirksville","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/249752\/","title":{"rendered":"A to Z Cat Coat Genetics presentation held in Kirksville"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Staff Reports<\/p>\n<p>An A to Z Cat Coat Genetics presentation was given to Adair County 4-H Cat Project members by Dr. Leslie Lyons, professor of Feline Genetics &amp; Comparative Medicine, MU School of Veterinary Medicine, on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Holiday Inn Express in Kirksville.<\/p>\n<p>Lyons has collected DNA from cats around the world to pinpoint the origins of cats to Egypt in the time of the pharaohs.
