\u201cHer and my mom called me, and we booked it down to New Haven super fast,\u201d said Anthony Cozzi. \u201cSo excited I called my mom, \u2018Mom, I got them!\u201d<\/p>\n
The show is taking place at Toad\u2019s Place on York Street, known as the place \u201cwhere legends play.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tickets for the show, at just $30, sold out in just a few hours.<\/p>\n
\u201cI saw them for the first time in 2023 in Asbury Park. I saw them again last summer at City Field in Queens, so this will be my 3rd time. I\u2019m really excited,\u201d said Violet Forcino.<\/p>\n
The Foo Fighters have been playing some surprise shows in advance of a fall tour that starts overseas next month. <\/p>\n
Fans rushed to get tickets, and some are camping out so they can get the best spot inside when the doors open.<\/p>\n
Toad\u2019s Place can hold roughly 900 people, giving these fans a chance to see the band in such an intimate venue. <\/p>\n
\u201cHopefully we\u2019re going to be right there, close enough we might be able to touch them. That\u2019s what you want. Fans like engagement,\u201d said Billy Safe, Seymour. \u201cVery big fan. We saw them in Bridgeport. We\u2019re excited to see them again tonight. It\u2019s going to be a nice, intimate show.\u201d<\/p>\n
