Pacific Northwest publishing company Timber Press has announced the release dates for two new books, written and designed by teachers to help young minds learn about the nature of the PNW.<\/p>\n
\u201cWildflowers of the Pacific Northwest for Kids\u201d by Ashley Erdely and \u201cBirds of the Pacific Northwest for Kids\u201d by Tom Myers are kid-friendly guides with plenty of fun facts and information to help young learners identify creatures and plants within the region. Right in time for fall hiking season, these books will be a starting point for those curious about the natural world around them. Both books go on sale on Oct. 14.
