Here\u2019s how you can install the latest updates, and details on new features.<\/p>\n<p>Apple\u2019s public beta program now features iPadOS 26.1, tvOS 26.1, and more<\/p>\n<p>All throughout the year, Apple offers a beta software program to the public. Most recently, it granted early access to iOS 26, macOS Tahoe, and more before their wide launches.<\/p>\n<p>Now, members of that beta program have new updates ready to install.<\/p>\n<p>iOS 26.1, iPadOS 26.1, macOS Tahoe 26.1, and more are newly available in public beta.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve been part of the public beta program before now, just ensure that your devices are still set to receive beta updates, and the new versions will appear in Settings\u2019 Software Update screen.<\/p>\n<p>For anyone new to public betas, you can enroll in the program at <a href=\"http:\/\/beta.apple.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beta.apple.com<\/a> and follow instructions from there for installation.<\/p>\n<p>New features in iPadOS 26.1 and more<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/apple-intelligence-ios-26-03.jpg\" alt=\"Apple Intelligence iOS 26 light purple\" class=\"wp-image-1016649\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Among the new features and changes in Apple\u2019s latest public betas, Apple Intelligence language expansions are a big focus.<\/p>\n<p>Apple Intelligence support is <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2025\/09\/22\/ios-26-1-beta-adds-new-languages-for-airpods-live-translation-and-apple-intelligence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">now enabled<\/a> for eight new languages:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chinese (traditional)<\/li>\n<li>Danish<\/li>\n<li>Dutch<\/li>\n<li>Norwegian<\/li>\n<li>Portuguese (Portugal)<\/li>\n<li>Swedish<\/li>\n<li>Turkish<\/li>\n<li>Vietnamese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Another new feature in the latest updates: Apple Music users can now switch between songs using a swipe gesture on the iPad app\u2019s MiniPlayer.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Apple has also made some UI enhancements across several system apps.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/safari-downloads-ipados-26.1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1020869\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Safari has moved Downloads into a popup window in the center of the screen. The Calendar app now uses full-width color designs for all events in List view. Apple\u2019s Photos app has a new and improved playback scrubber for videos.
