She suggests getting resistant starch from legumes, whole grains, seeds, and nuts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Boost the benefits.<\/strong> Haar suggests upping the nutrient value of chilled pasta, rice, and potatoes by serving them with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.consumerreports.org\/health\/nutrition-healthy-eating\/the-case-for-eating-more-plant-based-protein-a1206771019\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">plant-based proteins<\/a> (beans, nuts) and healthy fats.
