\n\tStart your engines, because Vin Diesel<\/a> is promising a major return for \u201cFast and Furious<\/a> 11.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Saturday night, Diesel joined his \u201cFast and Furious\u201d co-stars Tyrese Gibson and Cody Walker at Fuel Fest, a car enthusiast event in Pomona, Calif.. During his brief appearance, Diesel told a crowd of fans what to expect from the final \u201cFast and Furious\u201d film. He also confirmed a tentative release window of April 2027. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe studio said to me, \u2018Vin, can we please have the finale of \u2018Fast and Furious\u2019 [in] April 2027?’\u201d Diesel said. \u201cI said, \u2018Under three conditions.\u2019 First, is to bring the franchise back to L.A.! The second thing was to return to the car culture, to the street racing! The third thing was reuniting Dom and Brian O\u2019Conner.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is unclear what Diesel means when suggesting that Paul Walker\u2019s cop turned street racer could return to the series. Paul Walker died in a car crash<\/a> at the age of 40 in 2013, so if he were to star in the final \u201cFast and Furious,\u201d he would need to be digitally inserted. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe latest film in the franchise, \u201cFast X,\u201d was released in May 2023. It grossed more than $700 million worldwide at the end of its run against a colossal production budget of $340 million. Starring Diesel, Alan Ritchson, Jason Momoa, Michelle Rodriguez, Rita Moreno and Brie Larson, the film was advertised as the first part of a two-part saga upon its release.
