As part of Hispanic Heritage Month at UTA, The Center for Mexican American Studies Community Series is proud to present “Beyond Aztl\u00e1n: Forging Identity and Political Incorporation in the ‘Nuevo South, ‘” a talk by Alejandra Campos about Latino demographic shifts and political impacts in the south.<\/p>\n

About the Presenter: Alejandra Campos is the current Professor of Latino Studies for the Diane D. Blair Center at the University of Arkansas. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Notre Dame and has returned to the University of Arkansas, where she received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in political science. Dr. Campos’s research is published in top-tier academic journals like the Journal of Politics and the Proceedings of the National Academy.<\/p>\n
