(WKYT) &#8211; The Secretary of Kentucky\u2019s Cabinet for Health and Family Services is speaking out about recent federal guidance. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">It is coming on the heels of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wkyt.com\/2025\/09\/22\/trump-administration-link-autism-tylenol-use-during-pregnancy-reports-say\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wkyt.com\/2025\/09\/22\/trump-administration-link-autism-tylenol-use-during-pregnancy-reports-say\/\">Trump administration\u2019s announcement linking acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol, to autism<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">Secretary Dr. Steven Stack said pregnant women should consult their obstetrician or family physician about what they should do during pregnancy. Dr. Stack says the President\u2019s announcement is undermining confidence. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThere is no evidence to meaningfully suggest that Tylenol or acetaminophen causes autism.
