Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be back in New York City next month.<\/p>\n

The Sussexes will be honored with Project Healthy Minds\u2019 Humanitarians of the Year Award at the organization\u2019s World Mental Health Day Gala on Thursday, October 9 at Spring Studios in New York. They will receive the award \u201cfor their exceptional global efforts in building a safer, more equitable digital world for families and youth, and their meaningful contributions to advancing mental well-being worldwide,\u201d according to Project Healthy Minds. Notably, the organization is spotlighting Archewell Foundation\u2019s Parents\u2019 Network, which Harry and Meghan\u2019s foundation launched \u201cfor families and caregivers who have experienced the loss of a child due due to online harms.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWorking with families and young people to prioritize safety online has been some of the most meaningful work of our lives,\u201d the Sussexes said in a statement today. \u201cAs parents ourselves, we have been moved to action by the power of their stories and are honored to support them. We\u2019re proud to be long-time partners of Project Healthy Minds as we work together to shine a light on what remains one of the most pressing issues of our time.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Friday, October 10, Harry and Meghan will appear together at Project Healthy Minds\u2019 fourth annual World Mental Health Day Festival. They last attended the festival in 2023<\/a>. Other attendees at the festival include Katie Couric, Deepak Chopra, Boardroom co-founder Rich Kleiman, author Jonathan Haidt, and more.<\/p>\n
