A familiar face has entered the Texas governor\u2019s race for the 2026 election. Houston businessman Andrew White is running in the Democratic primary in an attempt to unseat Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, who is seeking a fourth term.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0UT Austin, UT San Antonio recognized as top public universities in Texas<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

The University of Texas at Austin recently earned a top 10 spot on the U.S. News & World Report\u2019s \u201cTop Public Universities.\u201d The analysis recognized the university as the No. 1 public university in Texas and the No. 7 public university nationally. The school maintained its spot as the No. 30 university among both public and private schools nationally.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
