Owasso\u2019s own Jalen Montonati, a four-star small forward ranked among the nation\u2019s top prospects in the class of 2026, is set to announce his college commitment Thursday, Sept. 25, at 2 p.m. CT.<\/p>\n

Montonati, ranked the No. 74 overall recruit nationally by 247Sports<\/a>, has emerged as one of the most sought-after players in the 2026 class. He\u2019s played for the powerhouse MOKAN EYBL program and even won gold with USA Basketball at the 2023 FIBA U16 Americas Championship.<\/p>\n

The Owasso standout has drawn scholarship offers from some of the biggest names in college basketball, including Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Indiana, Alabama, USC, Michigan, and more. He\u2019s already taken official visits to Kansas State and Oklahoma, with another scheduled at Oklahoma State this weekend.<\/p>\n

Montonati has made his name as a versatile scorer, especially from deep. At the prestigious City of Palms Classic, he averaged 24.3 points per game and shot nearly 49% from three-point range.<\/p>\n
