This fully immersive experience\u2014which will be popping up in Logan Square\u2014will celebrate the\u00a0unmatched glamour and singularity\u00a0of RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race, which has aired for 17 seasons and\u00a0generated several spinoffs.<\/p>\n
Drag Race: The Experience will transport visitors through the most iconic spaces featured on the drag competition show: Put the bass in your walk on the Main Stage, play a round of Snatch Game, tape your confessional and more. Visitors can also enjoy bevvies and snacks at the Gold Bar, shop exclusive merchandise and race the clock during RuPaul\u2019s Best Friend Race Scavenger Hunt.<\/p>\n
To the skeptics out there:\u00a0Drag Race: The Experience\u00a0isn\u2019t some unauthorized, fly by night operation. The activation is masterminded by the Emmy Award-winning team at World of Wonder, the production company behind RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race and DragCon<\/a>, an international series of drag conventions.<\/p>\n \u201cFor the first time ever, we\u2019re untucking and taking you behind the one-way mirror to show you how the sausage is made,\u201d Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, cofounders of World of Wonder, shared. \u201cYou can werk the Werk Room, walk the runway and become the image of your imagination\u2014sashaying away with a portrait of yourself transformed via our Dragrulator.\u201d<\/p>\n Throughout its residency, Drag Race: The Experience will host an abundance of events, including screenings and premiere parties supporting shows across the global Drag Race franchise. The space will also be available to rent for corporate and private events, in case you\u2019ve got some wild ideas for your company’s holiday party this year\u2026<\/p>\n Drag Race: The Experience will run from November 28 to December 30 near Western Avenue and Logan Boulevard. Fans can choose from two ticket tiers: VIP (starting at $177) and general admission (starting at $53).
