Glen Powell detailed an uncomfortable moment he had with a \u201ctoxic\u201d celebrity who was \u201crecently canceled.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI showed up to the party and there was somebody that had been on the ropes in terms of getting canceled,\u201d the \u201cAnyone But You\u201d actor\u00a0shared\u00a0on\u00a0Jake Shane\u2019s\u00a0\u201cTherapuss\u201d\u00a0podcast Wednesday. <\/p>\n
He added, \u201cThis person had made some of my favorite movies and I was like, \u2018Oh, this is great.\u2019 He came up and he said, \u2018Nice to meet you.\u2019 I was like, \u2018Oh, dude. Such a big fan.’\u201d<\/p>\n
As Powell, 36, chatted with the celebrity, whose name he did not disclose, a photographer asked if they would take a picture together, which made the \u201cTwisters\u201d star hesitant. <\/p>\n
\u201cThis person was recently canceled and it was not good. I was a fan of their work but not a fan of their choices,\u201d he explained. <\/p>\n

Powell then compared the unknown star to Russ Holiday, his character on \u201cChad Powers,\u201d a football star who got canceled and disguised himself to join another football team to revive his career.<\/p>\n
\u201cRuss Holliday is just a guy that made a mistake. He\u2019s not a bad guy. Some of these other people that get canceled, they should lie where they\u2019re shot,\u201d Powell claimed.<\/p>\n
