Charlie Sheen\u2019s ex,\u00a0Dolly Fox, has confirmed the \u201cPlatoon\u201d star\u2019s recollection in his new memoir, \u201cThe Book of Sheen,\u201d that Bill Clinton\u00a0<\/strong>once tried to steal her away<\/a> in the \u201880s.<\/p>\n

Sheen wrote of a time while filming 1987\u2019s \u201cThree for the Road\u201d <\/a>with Alan Ruck\u00a0in Arkansas when the cast visited the governor\u2019s mansion. \u201cI was answering a reporter\u2019s question when Ruck overheard Clinton whisper to one of his aides; \u2018Find out what you can about the brunette.\u2019 The brunette was\u00a0Dolly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fox\u00a0confirmed the incident to Page Six, and, it turns out, has multiple ties to the Clintons!<\/p>\n

She was pals with Miss America 1982, Elizabeth Ward \u2014 who alleged she\u2019d had a tryst with Clinton.\u00a0Fox\u00a0also told us, \u201cHillary [Clinton] and my mother [became] very good friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fox\u2019s late mother, Yolande, was Miss America 1951, and an activist who hosted political events in her Georgetown home, the Newton D. Baker House.<\/p>\n

Fox\u00a0told us her mother was also good friends with Clinton\u2019s mom, Virginia Kelley, and \u201cthey would go to the racetrack together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fox\u2019s mom even hosted one of Clinton\u2019s official inaugural parties in Washington, DC, she explained. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd it gets crazier because Monica Lewinski\u2019s mother\u00a0was a friend of my mothers!\u201d she said. \u201cYou can\u2019t make it up. I have pictures of President Clinton holding my 5-year-old daughter. The whole thing is just such an incestuous funny story,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s never mentioned the incident to Clinton, and hadn\u2019t really thought about it until Sheen published his book.<\/p>\n

Back then, \u201cthere was no \u2018me too\u2019 yet, so I was used to it. I laughed it off,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Fox is currently producing a play about Dorothy Dandridge. <\/p>\n

Sheen writes in the book that he relayed the Clinton story to fellow patients in rehab. \u201cI was still pretty faded on detox meds and no one believed me,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI literally said out loud to the group huddled around the TV, \u2018It\u2019s kool, I\u2019ll put it in a book one day and you can all go f\u2013k yourselves.\u2019 (And here we are).\u201d <\/p>\n
