{"id":255121,"date":"2025-09-26T02:55:09","date_gmt":"2025-09-26T02:55:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/255121\/"},"modified":"2025-09-26T02:55:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-26T02:55:09","slug":"chicagos-leo-high-school-choir-returns-home-after-agt-nbc-chicago","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/255121\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicago\u2019s Leo High School Choir returns home after \u2018AGT\u2019 \u2013 NBC Chicago"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fresh off of &#8220;America&#8217;s Got Talent,&#8221; the boys of the Leo High School Choir are already getting a taste of fame as they return home to Chicago.<\/p>\n<p>After<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcchicago.com\/news\/local\/watch-leo-high-school-choirs-performances-on-the-agt-finale\/3829169\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> placing fourth in the show&#8217;s finale<\/a> Wednesday, the boys returned home to Chicago decked out in their signature bright orange jackets. <\/p>\n<p>The choir turned the heads of strangers and fans alike after their flight from Los Angeles landed at O&#8217;Hare International Airport Thursday evening. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We thought they were fantastic, just love them, love them, love them,&#8221; a fan of the choir said at the airport. <\/p>\n<p>The choir spent four weeks in Los Angeles while competing on the most recent season of &#8220;America&#8217;s Got Talent,&#8221; missing classes and their school&#8217;s Homecoming. <\/p>\n<p>The choir\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcchicago.com\/news\/local\/chicagos-leo-high-school-choir-needs-votes-to-win-americas-got-talent\/3828646\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">performed a rendition of &#8220;Hall of Fame&#8221; by The Script<\/a>\u00a0ahead of the finale episode. <\/p>\n<p>Before that, they performed a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcchicago.com\/news\/local\/i-feel-alive-chicagos-leo-high-school-choir-makes-it-through-to-agt-finale\/3825948\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">cover of &#8220;Centuries&#8221; by Fall Out Boy<\/a>, that\u00a0earned them the votes needed to make it to the final round of the show.<\/p>\n<p>The teens now go back to school, but the &#8216;AGT&#8217; experience loaded them up with plans for the future. <\/p>\n<p>Keith Smith, who became the face of the choir and its raw talent on AGT, said he&#8217;s &#8220;going right back to the studio&#8221; after a trip to Harold&#8217;s Chicken.
