Taiwanese testing menu restaurant Kato (26), Mercado La Paloma Mexican seafood specialist Holbox (42), and Michael Cimarusti\u2019s acclaimed Providence (47) each received a spot on the prestigious list alongside restaurants from the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean; New York Korean tasting menu restaurant Atomix took the top spot, coming in at number one.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">The North America list is the latest expansion for the World\u2019s 50 Best, which maintains separate lists for Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The organization also publishes an annual list of the World\u2019s 50 Best Bars. The World\u2019s 50 Best 2025 list was announced in June; Atomix (12) scored the highest-ranked North American restaurant. Los Angeles was not represented on the list.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Before the North America\u2019s 50 Best ceremony kicked off, chefs and other hospitality professionals gathered on the red carpet for photos and interviews. Those whose restaurants were named to the list wore red scarves, branded with the World\u2019s 50 Best logo.
