That ranks well behind the Big East&#8217;s oldest team (Seton Hall, at 20.20 years) and well ahead of Marquette, which has the youngest average age across the Golden Eagles&#8217; 17-man roster, at 19.29 years.<\/p>\n<p>This season&#8217;s Red Storm roster is expected to be shepherded by North Carolina transfer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rotowire.com\/cbasketball\/player\/ian-jackson-23550\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ian Jackson<\/a>, who will likely man the point for Pitino and company this season after being named to the ACC All-Freshman Team last year.<\/p>\n<p>Joining Jackson is 6-foot-5 guard <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rotowire.com\/cbasketball\/player\/joson-sanon-23501\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Joson Sanon<\/a>, who transferred in from Arizona State, where he averaged 11.9 points per game as a freshman last season. The Huskies rock the second-most veteran lineup (alongside Providence), with both schools touting an average age of 19.93 in 2025-26.<\/p>\n<p>Throw in the <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Xavier.png\" class=\"article__logo\" alt=\"Xavier\"\/> Xavier Musketeers, who have the Big East&#8217;s fourth oldest projected roster this year in Richard Pitino&#8217;s first season in Cincinnati (at 19.88) and the Georgetown Hoyas (19.81 years) and you have the upper end of the league&#8217;s most experienced teams covered.<\/p>\n<p>Who is Expected To Win This Year&#8217;s Big East Title?<\/p>\n<p>As we approach the NCAA men&#8217;s basketball season, it seems oddsmakers are buying what Huskies coach Dan Hurley is selling in Storrs. UConn holds the top odds of winning the Big East regular season title on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rotowire.com\/betting\/bet365\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bet365<\/a>, at +165 as of Sept. 26.
