Sinclair Broadcast Group is bringing<\/a> Jimmy Kimmel\u2019s late-night show back to its ABC affiliate stations tonight, ending a dayslong TV blackout for dozens of cities across the U.S. over remarks the comedian made in the wake of conservative activist Charlie Kirk\u2019s killing.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur objective throughout this process has been to ensure that programming remains accurate and engaging for the widest possible audience,\u201d Sinclair said in a statement<\/a> this afternoon. \u201cWe take seriously our responsibility as local broadcasters to provide programming that serves the interests of our communities, while also honoring our obligations to air national network programming.\u201d<\/p>\n
