{"id":25803,"date":"2025-06-30T00:37:10","date_gmt":"2025-06-30T00:37:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/25803\/"},"modified":"2025-06-30T00:37:10","modified_gmt":"2025-06-30T00:37:10","slug":"asia-stock-markets-today-live-updates-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/25803\/","title":{"rendered":"Asia stock markets today: live updates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aerial view of Seoul downtown city skyline with vehicle on expressway and bridge cross over Han river in Seoul city, South Korea.<\/p>\n<p>Mongkol Chuewong | Moment | Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Asia-Pacific markets rose Monday as investors parsed a slew of data points, including South Korea and Japan&#8217;s industrial output figures for May and China&#8217;s purchasing managers&#8217; index readings for June.<\/p>\n<p>Japan&#8217;s\u00a0benchmark\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.N225\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nikkei 225<\/a>\u00a0climbed 1.13% in early trade, while the broader Topix index advanced 0.77%.<\/p>\n<p>In South Korea, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.KS11\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kospi<\/a>\u00a0index added 0.63%, while the small-cap Kosdaq was flat.<\/p>\n<p>Over in Australia, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.AXJO\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">S&amp;P\/ASX 200<\/a>\u00a0started the day 0.3% higher.<\/p>\n<p>Futures for Hong Kong&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.HSI\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hang Seng index<\/a> stood at 24,182, pointing to a weaker open compared to the HSI&#8217;s last close of 24,284.15.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/06\/29\/stock-market-today-live-updateshtml.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">U.S. equity futures<\/a>\u00a0rose in early Asia hours before the year stretches into the second half.<\/p>\n<p>All three key benchmarks on\u00a0Wall Street rose sharply in last Friday&#8217;s session. The broad-based\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.SPX\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">S&amp;P 500<\/a>\u00a0hit a new record in more than four months after ending the session about 0.5% higher at 6,173.07 \u2014 overtaking its previous record of 6,147.43.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.IXIC\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nasdaq Composite<\/a>\u00a0also reached an all-time high, closing at a record after adding about 0.5%, while the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.DJI\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dow Jones Industrial Average<\/a>\u00a0rose nearly 1%.<\/p>\n<p>The three benchmarks have staged a sharp recovery this month from the lows seen in April during the height of trade policy tensions.
