PHOENIX \u2014 Phoenix police are searching for a suspect who struck and killed a bicyclist in the West Valley Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

A 20-year-old man, whose name was not released, died from his injuries after he was hit, according to the Phoenix Police Department.<\/p>\n

Just before 2 a.m., police responded to calls about a crash involving an electric bicycle near 7100 W. Osborn Road.<\/a><\/p>\n

When officers arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from serious injuries.<\/p>\n

Firefighters took him to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.<\/p>\n

Detectives took over the investigation and learned the victim was riding west on Osborn Road when he was hit by a car.<\/p>\n

Police believe the suspect was heading south on 71st Avenue when the incident happened and that the car was visibly damaged.<\/p>\n
