With training camp just a few days away, the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> have made a couple of roster moves on the margins as they prepare for the 2025-26 NBA season.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, they signed forward Anton Watson and guard Nate Williams. Watson, 24, spent five seasons at Gonzaga University and was a second-round draft pick in 2024. He appeared in nine games with the New York Knicks<\/a> last season and also spent a good amount of time in the G League.<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-8, 225-pound frontcourt player earned first-team All-WCC honors for the 2023-24 season by averaging 14.5 points and 7.1 rebounds a game while shooting 57.8% from the field.<\/p>\n

Williams, who is 6-foot-5 and 205 pounds, is going into his fourth NBA season. He was with the Houston Rockets<\/a> the last two seasons after going undrafted out of the University of Buffalo.<\/p>\n

The Lakers have also reportedly waived guard Tevian Jones, whom they signed earlier this week to an Exhibit 10 contract, as well as Eric Dixon, a 6-foot-8, 265-pound frontcourt player they had signed to a two-way contract<\/a> in June.<\/p>\n

That means the team will have a two-way contract spot open moving forward. It already has center Christian Koloko and guard Chris Ma\u00f1on signed to two-way deals.<\/p>\n
