SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) \u2014 Selena Gomez<\/a> has married music producer and songwriter Benny Blanco, announcing the news in an Instagram post<\/a> showing the couple kissing and embracing on a lawn.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy wife in real life,\u201d Blanco responded to the post Saturday by the Grammy- and Emmy-nominated performer. Gomez wore a white halter bridal dress with floral flourishes, and Blanco wore a tuxedo and bow tie, both custom-made by Ralph Lauren. <\/p>\n

Paparazzi had snapped photos of a massive outdoor tent and other preparations in the Santa Barbara area.<\/p>\n

Friends in the entertainment industry and brands she\u2019s linked to responded with heart emoji and congratulations. \u201cOur Mabel is MARRIED,\u201d said the account of her \u201cOnly Murders in the Building\u201d series, and her Rare Beauty line of cosmetics posted: \u201cso happy for you two.\u201d Best wishes were also sent by Camila Cabello, Amy Schumer and others.<\/p>\n

Blanco, 37, and Gomez, 33, met about a decade ago and got engaged at the end of last year. They worked together on the 2019 song \u201cI Can\u2019t Get Enough,\u201d which also featured J Balvin and Tainy. <\/p>\n

Among the songs he\u2019s credited on as a writer and producer: Katy Perry\u2019s \u201cTeenage Dream,\u201d \u201cCircus\u201d by Britney Spears and Maroon 5\u2019s \u201cMoves Like Jagger.\u201d<\/p>\n
