SAN ANTONIO \u2014 The annual Rey Feo Super Hero River Parade is lighting up the River Walk, drawing thousands of spectators on Saturday evening. <\/p>\n
The parade, which began at 7 p.m. and will run through 10 p.m., is part of Hispanic Heritage Month. Rey Feo, translated to \u201cUgly King\u201d in English, is a Fiesta-related non-profit organization that dates back to 1947.<\/p>\n
Each float in the parade supports scholarships for local students. The elaborately decorated floats feature popular superheroes as well as real-life heroes, including first responders and law enforcement.
