UNITED NATIONS (AP) \u2014 Regardless of political perspective, no one could argue that the presidency of Donald Trump<\/a> \u2014 and his second term so far in particular \u2014 has been anything less than consequential, not only for the United States but for the world.<\/p>\n

That hasn\u2019t gone unremarked-upon at the U.N. General Assembly\u2019s meeting of world leaders, to whom Trump spoke Tuesday<\/a>. In marquee speeches and other settings, many of them have mentioned Trump and his policies, be it obliquely or directly.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a sampling of quotes by leaders and luminaries from around the world this past week at the United Nations talking about Trump and his administration \u2014 positive, negative and in between.<\/p>\n
