Evolve MVMT, a new ankle-worn fitness wearable, hit its Kickstarter goal in merely 4 minutes. The MVMT comes with real-time shock absorption, fatigue, and performance tracking for runners.<\/p>\n

Evolve’s new fitness wearable MVMT<\/a> – with its ability to monitor shock absorption in real time – surpassed its Kickstarter funding goal just four minutes after launch on September 23. <\/p>\n

The device, designed to be worn at the ankle, tracks how the body handles impact forces while running and provides users with data to help fine-tune form, reduce injury risk, and guide recovery. It also alerts runners during a session when their gait or shock handling degrades. After runs, a companion app breaks down detailed metrics such as shock absorption efficiency, running form consistency, fatigue levels, step mechanics, and terrain impact.<\/p>\n

Backers can still opt for an early-bird price of about $199, which is $300 lower than its planned retail price of around $499. The team expects to ship in December 2025, including internationally. Speaking of the wearable itself, the company claims up to 12 hours of battery life and USB-C charging. It supports Bluetooth connection to smartphones or tablets, while also supporting offline use in training scenarios. <\/p>\n

However, Evolve MVMT is entering a field which is already occupied by established wearable brands. Garmin offers advanced running metrics (ground contact time, vertical oscillation, etc.) through its Forerunner series (the Forerunner 55 is curr. $149 on Amazon<\/a>), while Coros gets you similar features with its Apex and Pace lines. Apple Watch also competes at the high end with a big fitness ecosystem. Regardless, none of these mainstream devices currently provide continuous, real-time shock absorption feedback, which is a point Evolve MVMT can leverage as its differentiator. <\/p>\n
