Kate Middleton and Prince William reportedly gifted their three children<\/a> with a \u201cmagical\u201d trip to the set of the new \u201cHarry Potter\u201d series on Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was so special,\u201d\u00a0an on-set insider told the Daily Mail<\/a>, sharing that Middleton took Prince George,\u00a012,\u00a0Princess Charlotte, 10,\u00a0and\u00a0Prince Louis, 7, to meet the \u201cyoung actors and the director on the set\u201d while William spent the weekend visiting\u00a0his father, King Charles III,\u00a0in Scotland<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was only one night of filming there, so it really was a magical ticket.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the outlet, Louis got to take a joyride on the Hogwarts Express \u2014 the beloved train that travels from King\u2019s Cross Station to the school of witchcraft and wizardry in the J.K. Rowling-written books.<\/p>\n

The project will star actor\u00a0Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Alastair Stout as Ronald Weasley and Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe does all the voices, because he is a brilliant mimic,\u201d she said in 2017, per the Daily Mail. \u201cI\u2019m not very good. I try to do the voices, but acting isn\u2019t my forte. But he sits down and they all sit with him.<\/p>\n
