Dolly Parton<\/a>\u2018s upcoming concert residency in Las Vegas has been postponed. The country icon is undergoing \u201ca few\u201d undisclosed medical procedures to address health concerns, she revealed on Sunday (Sept. 28).<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a statement posted on her social media accounts, Parton explained that she won\u2019t have sufficient rehearsal time ahead of the shows that were scheduled for The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in early December. She announced rescheduled dates set for September 2026.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts,\u201d Parton wrote. \u201cAs many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures. As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it\u2019s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHer message continued, \u201cIn all seriousness, given this, I am not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see, and the show that you deserve to see. You pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you. While I\u2019ll still be able to work on all of my projects from here in Nashville, I just need a little time to get show ready, as they say. And don\u2019t worry about me quitting\u2019 the business because God hasn\u2019t said anything about stopping yet. But, I believe He is telling me to slow down right now so I can be ready for more big adventures with all of you. I love you and thank you for understanding.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tParton was set to perform in Vegas<\/a> on Dec. 4, 6, 7, 10, 12 and 13. She planned to weave \u201cseven decades of classic hits and fan favorites including \u20189 to 5,\u2019 \u2018Jolene,\u2019 \u2018I Will Always Love You\u2019 and \u2018Coat of Many Colors’\u201d into the limited engagement run at The Colosseum, for which tickets went on sale in June.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe six-show run has been rescheduled for 2026 on the following dates: Sept. 17, 19, 20, 23, 25 and 26.<\/p>\n

\n\tOriginal tickets are valid for the new dates, and refunds will be available. Parton and The Colosseum at Caesars Palace said more instructions will be provided to ticket purchasers via email.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe concert residency is Parton\u2019s first extended run in Las Vegas since an engagement in the early \u201990s \u2014 at the then-new, but now-closed, Mirage Hotel, where she performed alongside Kenny Rogers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Dolly Parton\u2018s upcoming concert residency in Las Vegas has been postponed.
