FilmMagic<\/p>\n<p>Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Mart\u00ednez Ocasio, is the most-streamed artist in the world and a three-time Grammy winner. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I\u2019m feeling goes beyond myself,\u201d Bunny said in a statement. \u201cIt\u2019s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown\u2026 this is for my people, my culture, and our history.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also announced the video himself on social media, with his song \u201cCallaita\u201d playing in the background. <\/p>\n<p>Bad Bunny is the most-streamed artist in the world.  Getty Images for The Met Museum\/<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cKing of Latin Trap\u201d has performed during the Super Bowl before, when he was a special guest for Shakira and Jennifer Lopez\u2019s co-headlined halftime show during Super Bowl 2020 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. <\/p>\n<p>Bunny, 31, just recently concluded his 31-night residency at San Juan\u2019s El Choli in Puerto Rico. <\/p>\n<p>His final show, titled \u201cUna M\u00e1s,\u201d was the most-watched Amazon Music livestream ever. <\/p>\n<p>Bad Bunny is a three-time Grammy winner.  Kevin Mazur\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The majority of his lyrics are in Spanish, making him an interesting choice for the show. <\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, he <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/09\/10\/entertainment\/bad-bunny-didnt-tour-us-over-fears-of-ice-raids\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">revealed that he did not include any concerts in the United States<\/a> for his upcoming 2025-26 tour due to a fear that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) \u201ccould be outside\u201d his shows. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cLatinos and Puerto Ricans of the United States could also travel [to Puerto Rico], or to any part of the world,\u201d Bunny <a href=\"https:\/\/i-d.co\/article\/bad-bunny-puerto-rico-residency-issue-375-cover\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told I-D<\/a>. \u201cThere was the issue of, like, f\u2013king ICE could be outside. And it\u2019s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Bunny also explained that one of the reasons for not including the U.S. is that Puerto Rico does not have statehood. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere were many reasons why I didn\u2019t show up in the US, and none of them were out of hate \u2013 I\u2019ve performed there many times,\u201d he told the outlet. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of [the shows] have been successful. All of them have been magnificent. I\u2019ve enjoyed connecting with Latinos who have been living in the US. But specifically, for a residency here in Puerto Rico, when we are an unincorporated territory of the US\u2026People from the US could come here to see the show.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Super Bowl will be played on Feb. 8, 2026. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Bad Bunny will take the stage.
