During the talk, the trainer spoke about how Curry has improved through his training. Payne also emphasized what to expect from the player in the upcoming season. During the interview, Payne noted how Curry has gotten faster with his movement. There has been a significant improvement in this aspect, and Payne believes it will be a big advantage for the team as a whole.

Brandon Payne highlights Stephen Curry’s first step quickness and explosiveness required for the team’s journey this season

In the interview, Brandon Payne talked about how Stephen Curry aims for the fifth NBA Championship this year. Curry is also set to break the 50-40-90 club for the second time in his career. When the trainer was asked, “Why did you feel it was important to make reading and reacting the main point of emphasis this offseason?” Payne immediately replied, “His first-step quickness and explosiveness is the fastest that it’s ever been, if not faster.” He further continued, “But as players age, the one thing they can do is continue to work on processing information fast and make faster decisions to offset any gap that is created with losing a step. That hasn’t happened with him yet. So when you combine the fact that physically he’s still at a peak and now he’s making decisions faster, we have a very quick player out there.”Payne still believes that the team has one of the strongest players out there. Curry has still got the pace and the moves required for the team to secure a championship win in the upcoming season.

Brandon Payne talks about Stephen Curry’s new role alongside Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler joined the Golden State Warriors in 2025. The presence of the versatile player adds to Stephen Curry’s role on the offense. Emphasizing this, trainer Brandon Payne stated in the same interview, “Steph will start to recognize where the opportunities are. To play off of Jimmy and play in that mid-range area with his back to the basket a little bit. I think that is certainly something that can continue to get better.”Payne believed that Buttler’s cutting and finishing ability, combined with Curry’s mid-range post-opportunities, could benefit the team to a great extent. Before joining the Warriors, Butler was with the Miami Heat. The player left a mark even there with his extraordinary skills and abilities. Also Read: Kevin Durant in awe as Jayson Tatum’s remarkable Achilles comeback sparks hope for Boston Celtics

Image via Brandon Payne/Instagram Ahead of the upcoming 2025-2026 season, Stephen Curry’s trainer, Brandon Payne, had an extensive…

[40
137803,3125,137802,3140,3360,3359,3120,1260,137804,62,3366,137805,67,132,68
0":"post-263620","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-nba","8":"tag-2025-2026-season","9":"tag-boston-celtics","10":"tag-brandon-payne","11":"tag-golden-state-warriors","12":"tag-jimmy-butler","13":"tag-kevin-durant","14":"tag-miami-heat","15":"tag-nba","16":"tag-rg-media","17":"tag-sports","18":"tag-stephen-curry","19":"tag-stephen-currys","20":"tag-united-states","21":"tag-unitedstates","22":"tag-us
["GET
