Arne Slot<\/a> and his staff worked with 24 players as Liverpool prepared for their trip to Galatasaray, with Hugo Ekitike<\/a> available again for the Champions League<\/a> tie.<\/b><\/p>\n

Ekitike was unfortunately absent for the trip to Crystal Palace<\/a> on Saturday, serving his suspension for two yellow cards against Southampton<\/a> in the Carabao Cup<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But the Frenchman is back in contention for the Champions League<\/a> clash with Galatasaray and is expected to join Slot\u2019s starting lineup.<\/p>\n

He was one of 24 players put through their paces at the AXA Training Centre on Monday morning ahead of the flight to Istanbul.<\/p>\n

Ekitike is likely to replace Alexander Isak<\/a> up front on Tuesday night, with Federico Chiesa<\/a> surprisingly left out of the travelling squad.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Chiesa scored off the bench in the weekend\u2019s 2-1 loss and following the injury to Giovanni Leoni<\/a> had belatedly been registered for the Champions League<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Italian was in high spirits as he worked with his teammates in the Kirkby sunshine, but then did not join the squad on their trip.<\/p>\n

While Slot is likely to make further changes it is unlikely that he will omit Ibrahima Konate<\/a> based on a disappointing performance against Palace.<\/p>\n

Joe Gomez<\/a> is the other option to partner Virgil van Dijk<\/a> at centre-back but, unless he opts for heavy rotation, the chances are Konate will be retained.<\/p>\n

There could be rotation in midfield with Alexis Mac Allister<\/a> not yet ready to start two games in a week, but the positive news was neither he nor Isak were absent from training as they build up their minutes.<\/p>\n
