After missing the <a data-i13n=\"cpos:3;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/sports.yahoo.com\/nba\/article\/victor-wembanyama-spurs-miss-rest-of-regular-season-with-blood-clot-in-shoulder-175153572.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:final two months of last season;cpos:3;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">final two months of last season<\/a> when doctors diagnosed him with deep vein thrombosis in his right shoulder, Wembanyama \u2014 the 7-foot-4 former No. 1 overall draft pick, Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year runner-up, 2025 All-Star and ascendant megastar expected to propel the Spurs back to postseason contention \u2014 has been cleared for a full return to competition heading into the new campaign, according to San Antonio head coach Mitch Johnson.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVictor\u2019s cleared,\u201d Johnson said Monday morning. \u201cHe\u2019s been cleared by our medical team and by the league. \u2026 He\u2019s been ramping up. When his season ended just after the All-Star break, he was averaging 24.3 points, 11 rebounds, a league-leading 3.8 blocks, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 33.2 minutes per game.
