The Jaguars signed a new quarterback to the practice squad, who happens to be the son of a former Jacksonville coach.<\/p>\n

The Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> announced a pair of practice squad moves<\/a> on Tuesday at the quarterback position.<\/p>\n
The Jaguars<\/a> are signing Carter Bradley and releasing Seth Henigan as the corresponding move to make room for the latest addition.<\/p>\n
Interestingly, you probably recognize the last name Bradley, as Carter is the son of Gus Bradley, the former Jacksonville head coach from 2013 to 2016.<\/p>\n
Bradley went undrafted in 2024 out of South Alabama. He has spent time with the Las Vegas Raiders and the San Francisco 49ers. Bradley has no career regular-season snaps.<\/p>\n
After four seasons at Toledo, Bradley spent his final two years at South Alabama. He would throw for 3,335 yards in 2023 and 2,650 yards in 2024, according to PFF<\/a>.<\/p>\n
During that two-year span, Bradley had a completion rate of 65.8% and averaged 8.0 yards per pass with 47 touchdowns to 19 interceptions.<\/p>\n
Henigan, meanwhile, would go undrafted this past April out of Memphis. He spent all of the offseason with the Jaguars and beat out veteran John Wolford for the Jaguars’ third quarterback role on the practice squad.<\/p>\n
