(Photo by Jordan Strauss\/Invision\/AP)(Jordan Strauss\/Invision\/AP\/Jordan Strauss)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keith Urban<\/strong> and <strong>Nicole Kidman<\/strong> have separated, ABC News has learned.<\/p>\n<p>The Nine Perfect Strangers actress and the \u201cStraight Line\u201d hitmaker have been married since 2006 and share two daughters together, <strong>Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban<\/strong>, 17, and <strong>Faith Margaret Kidman-Urban<\/strong>, 14.<\/p>\n<p>Kidman is also the mom to two other children, <strong>Bella<\/strong> and<strong> Connor<\/strong>, whom she shares with ex-husband <strong>Tom Cruise<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Kidman met Urban in 2005 at the G\u2019Day USA Gala in Los Angeles, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/movies\/nicole-kidman-keith-urban-relationship-timeline\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">People<\/a>, who reported that early on in their relationship, Kidman was certain that Urban was who she wanted to marry.<\/p>\n<p>In May 2006, they got engaged and tied the knot a month later in Sydney, Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, Kidman and Urban have supported each other\u2019s projects and more.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, Urban honored Kidman during the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award: A Tribute to Nicole Kidman and shared how Kidman supported him when he went to rehab after they got married due to his past \u201caddictions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you want to see what love in action really looks like, give that a whirl,\u201d he said. \u201cNic pushed through every negative voice \u2014 I\u2019m sure even some of her own \u2014 and she chose love. And here we are tonight, 18 years later.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe thing about Nic \u2014 she loves life,\u201d Urban added. \u201cI\u2019ve actually never met anyone who has such a passion for being alive. She knows the importance of expressing feelings as well. I wasn\u2019t raised like this at all, so our girls are very lucky to be learning from you, baby. I\u2019m learning too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, Nicole shared a sweet photo with Keith on their 19th wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHappy Anniversary Baby @KeithUrban,\u201d the Oscar winner captioned her June post.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2025, ABC Audio.
