Robert De Niro<\/strong>, 81, has been acting for over 60 years and shows no signs of slowing down \u2014 but when he\u2019s not working, he often spends time with his family and girlfriend Tiffany Chen<\/strong>, 45.<\/p>\n

Though the couple tends to keep a low profile, they were recently spotted leaving a restaurant in Los Angeles. On Thursday, June 19, De Niro and Chen were photographed enjoying a quiet dinner at Nobu, in photos obtained by Backgrid<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 81-year-old actor kept it casual in a blue jacket and green cap, while Chen wore an oversized jumper and sunglasses.<\/p>\n

Best known for his iconic roles in Goodfellas and A Bronx Tale, De Niro has made a few red carpet appearances with Chen, but the pair mostly stay out of the spotlight.<\/p>\n

The Academy Award winner was first linked to Chen \u2014 a trained dancer and martial arts instructor \u2014 in August 2021 following his split from ex-wife Grace Hightower<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

However, they\u2019ve known each other much longer. The two reportedly met in 2015 on the set of The Intern, where Chen had a role.<\/p>\n

Speculation about their relationship began after PDA-filled photos of the pair went viral, leading fans to believe they were more than just friends.<\/p>\n

In May 2023,\u00a0 De Niro revealed in an interview with ET Canada<\/a> that he had welcomed his seventh child, though he didn\u2019t initially share who the mother was.<\/p>\n

It was his About My Father costar Kim Cattrall<\/strong> who reportedly spilled and confirmed that Chen had given birth to their daughter, Gia.<\/p>\n

Since becoming parents, De Niro has praised Chen for her role as a mother. \u201cI mean, I don\u2019t do the heavy lifting,\u201d he told The Guardian<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m there, I support my girlfriend. But she does the work. And we have help, which is so important.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the actor is grateful for the experience of raising a newborn again, he admits it comes with challenges. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t get easier\u2026It is what it is. It\u2019s OK.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Golden Globe recipient has seven children in total \u2014 his eldest, daughter Drena De Niro<\/strong>, is 57.<\/p>\n

As for expanding their family, the couple haven\u2019t said whether they plan to have more children together.<\/p>\n
