It looks like Erewhon has its eyes on Dallas<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The famous grocer said on Instagram that \u201cThe Taste of Erewhon\u201d is \u201cshipping to your city\u201d \u2014 and included maps of several cities, with one of them highlighting Dallas and including regions beyond the core city.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not clear what \u201cThe Taste of Erewhon\u201d is exactly and what the time frame will be. A message left with the company wasn\u2019t immediately returned.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Erewhon\u2019s chief growth officer, Kabir Jain, discussed the upscale specialty chain\u2019s plans to enter new markets at the Groceryshop conference in Las Vegas, according to GroceryDive<\/a>. There, Jain said that over the next three years, the \u201csmall but mighty chain\u201d plans to build five stores. It aims to not only expand across Southern California but also venture into new markets like Northern California and then \u201cfurther east across the country,\u201d Jain said, without providing specifics, according to the report. <\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Erewhon confirmed on Instagram that it is opening a tonic bar at an incoming private members club<\/a> in New York City, GroceryDive said. The club will let members order in person at the Erewhon tonic bar, while nonmembers will be able to access the smoothies and juices via the Uber and Postmates delivery apps, according to the club\u2019s website.<\/p>\n

Erewhon, which has several stores in the Los Angeles area, is known for its cool, high-end items that include smoothies that can cost over $20<\/a> and $18 vegan granola. It\u2019s attracted the attention of musicians and actors \u2014 and there\u2019s even a TikTok account dedicated to celebrity sightings<\/a> at the grocer. An article in The New York Times in 2021 called it<\/a> \u201cL.A.\u2019s Hottest Hangout.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Dallas region has continued to draw retailers from around the country and the world as its population has grown and its business community has become more dynamic. In the past few years, the region has added a Prada location, a Kith \u2014 and several of Texas\u2019 own H-E-B locales. <\/p>\n

Other cities on the Instagram post included New York, Miami, Chicago and San Francisco. It also included Los Angeles, possibly indicating \u201cThe Taste of Erewhon\u201d will be among the traditional stores.<\/p>\n
