{"id":267239,"date":"2025-09-30T19:15:13","date_gmt":"2025-09-30T19:15:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/267239\/"},"modified":"2025-09-30T19:15:13","modified_gmt":"2025-09-30T19:15:13","slug":"countdown-to-craziness-set-for-friday-in-k-ville-cameron","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/267239\/","title":{"rendered":"Countdown to Craziness Set for Friday in K-Ville, Cameron"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b data-ogsc=\"\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">DURHAM, N.C.<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 With the start of the college basketball season just a month away, the 2025-26 Duke men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s basketball teams make their debut Friday, Oct. 3, during the annual Countdown to Craziness event at Cameron Indoor Stadium.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nCountdown to Craziness features a night of entertainment, games, engaging videos and on-court contests all leading up to the introduction of the 2025-26 Blue Devils and the annual Blue-White scrimmage.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe festivities begin at 3 p.m. in Card Gym Lot and Krzyzewskiville, adjacent to Cameron Indoor Stadium, with a Fan Fest that is free and open to the public. The Fan Fest will include several local food trucks, live music, a beer garden, games and more. The men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s teams will appear in Fan Fest starting at 5:30 p.m.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nDoors to Cameron open at 6 p.m., with the programming inside beginning at 7 p.m., including performances by the Duke spirit squad and the Duke Marching Band Drum Line. Head coach\u00a0<b data-ogsc=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/goduke.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/coaches\/kara-lawson\/5212\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5212\" target=\"_blank\">Kara Lawson<\/a><\/b>&#8216;s women&#8217;s team will be introduced at 7:15 with a scrimmage to follow. At 8 p.m., head coach\u00a0<b data-ogsc=\"\">Jon Scheyer<\/b>&#8216;s men&#8217;s team will be introduced, followed by the Blue-White scrimmage.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nCountdown to Craziness will broadcast live on ACCNX with Chris Edwards on the call. Live coverage can also be heard across the Blue Devil Sports Network from LEARFIELD, starting at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The Duke women open the 2025-26 season Monday, Nov. 3 in Paris, France, where the Blue Devils will square off against Baylor as part of the Oui-Play Paris event.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nThe Duke men open the regular season versus Texas on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte.
