\n\tLouis Tomlinson has announced<\/a> his third studio album \u201cHow Did I Get Here?,\u201d releasing on Jan. 23, 2026.<\/p>\n

\n\tTo coincide with the announcement, the former One Direction member has dropped his new single \u201cLemonade,\u201d which he\u2019s been teasing over the past few weeks. For \u201cHow Did I Get Here?,\u201d Tomlinson initially came up with song ideas in the English countryside before heading to Santa Teresa in Costa Rica for three weeks earlier this year, working on the project with co-producer Nico Rebscher (Alice Merton, Aurora).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a statement about the album, Tomlinson said, \u201cI sum up it as \u2018The record I always deserved to make.\u2019 My bread and butter is my honesty. I genuinely wear my heart on my sleeve, and I hope it comes through in the music. I\u2019m still learning and getting better as a singer and a songwriter. I find it impossible to be complacent; it\u2019s not in my vocabulary. For the first time now, I\u2019m allowing myself to be the artist I\u2019d
always hoped to be.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tUp next, Tomlinson will stage \u201cThe Away From Home Festival\u201d on Oct. 4-5 at the Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, New York. He personally curated the event himself and will co-headline with Lauv, with additional performances from Steve Aoki, Plain White T\u2019s, Daya, Pale Waves, Circa Waves and DJ Zach Sang.<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing his tenure as one-fifth of One Direction, Tomlinson released his debut solo album \u201cWalls\u201d in 2020.
