\"Actress Actress Padmini Kapila has done movies like \u2018Laawaris\u2019, \u2018Shaan\u2019, \u2018Ghungroo\u2019 in smaller roles. While she was a known face, somehow wrong choices and luck did not allow her career to take off the way it should have. Padmini<\/a> has admitted to her relationship with director Prakash Mehra<\/a> who made movies like \u2018Muqaddar Ka Sikandar\u2019 among many others. Mehra also never gave her any big movies and in a recent interview, she said that she heard him say once, \u2018Badi picture dunga toh haath se nikal jayegi\u2019. In the same interview with Lehren, the actress was asked, \u2018But then you got involved with Salim Khan<\/a>\u2019.She instantly denied it. Veteran journalist Bharathi S Pradhan, further told her, \u201cWhen I asked Salim Khan about it many years ago, he had said, \u2018Itni khubsurat ladki ko maine response nahi diya toh I\u2019m an idiot.\u2019 So, he never denied it, nor have you denied.\u201d Reacting to it, she laughed and said, \u201cWhat is there to deny when there is nothing. He said that because he\u2019s a dialogue writer.\u201d<\/p>\n

She further added, \u201cBut he always said that with your looks, you should have done bigger films, but perhaps it\u2019s destiny.\u2019 I was like, yes, in a film like \u2018Prem Kahaani\u2019.
