Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are on a promotional spree for their upcoming film, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.<\/a> With just a day to go before their rom-com hits the big screen, the lead actors are leaving no stone unturned to make their hilarious off-screen chemistry give fans plenty to talk about. From guest appearances on popular TV shows like Bigg Boss to promoting the movie across cities like Pune and Ahmedabad, Varun and Janhvi are ensuring the film remains at the top-of-mind of audiences nationwide.<\/p>\n

As part of their promotions, the actors sat for an interview with an entertainment news portal where they got candid about their friendship and their upcoming film, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Varun dropped a surprise bomb and said, \u201cWe are not best friends or anything.”<\/p>\n

Janhvi, visibly shocked, screamed, \u201cHow rude. Till this moment, I thought we were best friends. You know all my secrets. Anything happens, anything someone asks me, just know Varun Dhawan knows it.”<\/p>\n

Varun went on to clarify, \u201cThe kind of humour I can share with her. Like, I have my friends, like, bachpan ke dost, like boys. I can\u2019t even do that with them because they will find it too dark. It\u2019s very dark, we share very dark humour.”<\/p>\n

\u201cSo then we are best friends. Why can\u2019t you call me your best friend?” Janhvi argued.<\/p>\n

Varun replies that they are very close friends, which is why he doesn\u2019t call her his best friend. \u201cJoey is my best friend. Joey is no.1,” he declared.<\/p>\n

\u201cWho is number 2? I really wanted to be his best friend. I have spent 5 years since Bawaal, 5 years thinking I was his best friend.”<\/p>\n
