{"id":26943,"date":"2025-06-30T11:04:17","date_gmt":"2025-06-30T11:04:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/26943\/"},"modified":"2025-06-30T11:04:17","modified_gmt":"2025-06-30T11:04:17","slug":"a-wet-week-ahead-action-news-jax","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/26943\/","title":{"rendered":"A wet week ahead \u2013 Action News Jax"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 Temperatures this morning are in the 70s under mostly clear skies.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Today will feature another round of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening.<\/li>\n<li>Storms will develop between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. <\/li>\n<li>Coverage of storms will be greatest in areas similar to this weekend in between US-301 and the beaches where the sea breezes collide.<\/li>\n<li>Storms will be capable of very heavy rain, frequent lightning and strong gusty winds. <\/li>\n<li>Highs will rise into the upper 80s to low 90s before rain\/clouds cool things off.<\/li>\n<li>This weather pattern continues this week with a daily chance for storms. Heavy rain could, at times, lead to minor flooding.<\/li>\n<li>The greatest rain totals this week will be well inland along I-75 to Highway 301 in NE Florida.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\"><b>TROPICS:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Barry made landfall Sunday night as a tropical depression along Mexico\u2019s Gulf Coast. <\/li>\n<li>We\u2019re watching areas from the NE Gulf, NE FL &amp; the W.
