That\u2019s the idea behind Bread &amp; Better Life Caf\u00e9, which recently opened at 1010 W. Magnolia Ave., combining specialty coffee and bakery treats with free workshops designed to help people thrive physically, emotionally, and spiritually.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The two-story, 3,000-square-foot caf\u00e9, launched by the Southwestern Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.\u00a0and Monday through Thursday evenings from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to a release.\u00a0Its menu features hand-baked pastries, bean-to-cup coffee, specialty espresso drinks, teas, and fresh fruit smoothies.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bread &amp; Better Life Caf\u00e9\u2019s standout feature is its Community Room, which hosts daily classes at no cost. Workshops fall into six \u201cLife Modules\u201d: Physical Health, Emotional Wellness, Money Matters, Resilient Relationships, Personal Improvement, and Nurturing Faith. Current offerings include grief recovery, financial literacy, and marriage strengthening, while \u201cMindful Mondays\u201d focus on mental wellness topics such as stress management, anxiety, and depression.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The caf\u00e9 occupies a restored 1940s building with exposed brick walls, original geometric ceilings, and large display windows.
