Jimmy Kimmel was in the bathroom when he found out his late-night talk show, \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live,\u201d was being pulled from the air \u201cindefinitely.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

The comedian gave a play-by-play of the \u201cstrange \u2026 emotional rollercoaster\u201d on the \u201cLate Show With Stephen Colbert\u201d<\/a> Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is unusual,\u201d Kimmel continued. \u201cAs far as I knew, they didn\u2019t even know I was doing a show previous to this. I have, like, five people who work in my office with me, so the only private place to go is the bathroom.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I got into the bathroom and I\u2019m on the phone with the ABC executives,\u201d Kimmel recalled. \u201cThey say, \u2018Listen, we want to take the temperature down. We\u2019re concerned about what you\u2019re going to say tonight, and we\u2019ve decided that the best route is to take the show off the air.’\u201d<\/p>\n

When the audience began to boo loudly, Kimmel quipped, \u201cThat\u2019s what I said. I started booing.\u201d<\/p>\n
