It may be about to see a lot more.<\/p>\n Organizers of the World Naked Bike Ride<\/a> said on Instagram Wednesday that they\u2019re planning to protest the Trump administration\u2019s decision<\/a> to send 200 federalized National Guard troops<\/a> to Portland. <\/p>\n \u201cEmergency World Naked Bike Ride coming up in response to the militarization of our city,\u201d reads the caption of an Instagram reel posted by the event\u2019s organizers. \u201cPlans are being worked on.\u201d<\/p>\n Using the format of naked bicycling as a form of protest against the Trump administration\u2019s actions should be hardly surprising. The annual Portland event was created as a protest against Big Oil. <\/p>\n The upcoming naked bike ride is being organized by an offshoot of the original World Naked Bike Ride<\/a>. The group organized a last-minute event in 2024, after the original bike ride was canceled.
