\n\tZohran Mamdani<\/a>\u2018s latest ad features him asking the question, \u201cNew York, will you accept this rose?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn an outreach older voters, the campaign is debuting a Bachelor-inspired spot, \u201cRose,\u201d during Wednesday night\u2019s season premiere of ABC<\/a>\u2018s The Golden Bachelor<\/a>. The spot will run on the local ABC affiliate.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the ad, Mamdani, appearing in a candle lit room, looks to the camera and says, \u201cYou deserve better.\u00a0 You deserve to be able to raise your family here.\u00a0To be safe.\u00a0 To travel where you need to, free of cost and worry.\u00a0You deserve someone who works as hard as you do.\u00a0 Who thinks about you \u2014 every second of the day.\u00a0That\u2019s the kind of mayor I promise to be.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe then picks up a rose and holds it to the camera. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNew York, will you accept this rose?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPer the campaign, the spot is the start of a seven-figure ad buy. Mamdani, the Democratic socialist, won a surprising victory in the New York mayoral primary earlier this year in part for unconventional ad spots that broke through the clutter.<\/p>\n
