Hoodies and jackets will be needed over the next few mornings as temps drop into the 40s and low 50s.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/z-region-forecast-tomorrow.png#.png\" alt=\"Forecast for Thursday, 71 and mostly sunny in Philadelphia, mostly cloud and 67 at the shore, mostly sunny and 70 in the Lehigh Valley \" height=\"349\" width=\"620\" class=\" lazyload\"  loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>                CBS News Philadelphia<\/p>\n<p>That high pressure will stick around for a few days before moving east. When that occurs, our temps will go back up and low 80s are expected this weekend, even mid-80s by early next week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>No rain is in sight until at least Wednesday of next week.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/imelda-storm-hurricane-atlantic-maps-forecast-path\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Imelda<\/a>\u00a0is still a hurricane, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/humberto-map-forecast-national-hurricane-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Humberto<\/a> continues to weaken to the north. One thing to note: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/philadelphia\/news\/new-jersey-shore-hurricane-humberto-imelda\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Rip currents and rough surf<\/a> will be felt on and along all beaches and shore points. Boaters should proceed with caution and pay attention to any alerts that may be issued.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise, there&#8217;s only one other area of interest in the tropics with a 20% of development over the next seven days. If it becomes named, it will be called Jerry. While the tropical season still has two months left, we are past the peak of the season with no landfalling systems so far.
