Two regional Delta jets full of passengers and crew collided at low speed while taxiing at LaGuardia Airport on Wednesday night, injuring one person, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

The wing of Endeavor Air flight 5155, departing for Roanoke, Virginia, collided with the fuselage of Endeavor Air flight 5047, arriving from Charlotte, North Carolina, on the airport\u2019s taxiway just before 10 p.m., according to preliminary information provided to The Post by Delta Air Lines.<\/p>\n

A flight attendant on board one of the aircraft was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No customers were injured during the collision, according to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and Delta.<\/p>\n

Photos and videos posted to social media captured emergency vehicles rushing toward the two CRJ-900 regional\u00a0jets on the taxiway of the Queens airport.<\/p>\n

Additional photos showed the nose of one of the aircraft visibly dented.<\/p>\n

CBS News producer Joey Annunziato, a passenger on the flight from Charlotte, described the chaos inside his plane\u2019s cabin after the collision as \u201csuper jarring.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe got absolutely smashed by another Delta flight. I don\u2019t know if we hit them or they hit us, but it was super jarring,\u201d Annunziato said in a\u00a0video<\/a>\u00a0posted on X recorded from his seat moments after impact.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone shot forward in their seats and it was kind of a little chaotic as soon as it happened. We were shocked at what happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

Annunziato said the half-full plane was moving at a \u201cdecent clip\u201d when it collided with the other aircraft.<\/p>\n

He added that the flight had been \u201cuneventful\u201d until the crash, as flashing emergency lights illuminated the window beside him.<\/p>\n

Annunziato said no one on board appeared to be injured.<\/p>\n

The 28 passengers aboard Endeavor Air flight 5155 and 57 passengers aboard Endeavor Air flight 5047 have been taken back to the terminal in a bus and were provided with food and beverages by the airline, Delta said.<\/p>\n

Customers will be placed in hotel rooms, offered meals, and given the option to rebook their flights tomorrow, the airline added.<\/p>\n

\u201cDelta teams at our New York-LaGuardia hub are working to ensure our customers are taken care of after two Delta Connection aircraft operated by Endeavor Air were involved in a low-speed collision during taxi,\u201d Delta said in a statement. <\/p>\n

\u201cDelta will work with all relevant authorities to review what occurred as the safety of our customers and people comes before all else. We apologize to our customers for the experience,\u201d the airline continued.<\/p>\n

There was no impact on LaGuardia airport operations, according to the Port Authority. <\/p>\n

Delta will work with the Port Authority, the FAA, the NTSB, and others to review the incident.<\/p>\n
