No injuries were reported, officials said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">In an email sent to residents obtained by The Dallas Morning News, Brookfield Properties, the complex\u2019s management, said a water leak triggered the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/fire\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/fire\/\">emergency response<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The 1940-era building was evacuated as apartment officials and responders went door to door to ensure everyone got out safely.
