Their Bloom-ing bromance ended in heartbreak.<\/p>\n

Eric Adams privately felt betrayed when Michael\u00a0Bloomberg endorsed Andrew Cuomo over him for mayor earlier this year, according to a new tell-all book<\/a> by his ex-girlfriend and sports czar Jasmine Ray.<\/p>\n

\u201cEric brushed it off publicly, but privately, I could hear the crack in his voice,\u201d Ray wrote in her memoir, obtained by The Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe admitted that people he admired had broken his heart. Bloomberg was one of them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The glimpse into Adams\u2019 sorrow is one of many shocking, intimate moments revealed in Ray\u2019s upcoming self-published book \u201cPolitical Humanity,\u201d set to come out Sunday.<\/p>\n

Adams had basked in his victory in 2021\u2019s mayoral election, not least because Bloomberg took him under his wing, Ray wrote.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

He took Ray \u2014 with whom he had an intimate relationship years earlier \u2014 to Staten Island\u2019s boardwalk and gushed to her about the former three-term mayor\u2019s mentorship, she wrote.<\/p>\n

Bloomberg was putting him through \u201cmayor school,\u201d Adams said, according to the book.<\/p>\n

\"AndrewBloomberg\u2019s endorsement of Andrew Cuomo broke Adams\u2019 heart, the book contends. Robert Miller<\/p>\n

\u201cHis gratitude in that moment was undeniable; you could hear the respect in his voice and see it in the way he recounted their conversations. But even admiration has its shadows,\u201d the book reads.<\/p>\n

As scandals rocked Adams\u2019 first term, Bloomberg jumped ship.<\/p>\n

He endorsed Cuomo<\/a> in June for both the Democratic primary and the general election \u2014 and threw millions towards a pro-Cuomo Super PAC.<\/p>\n

Bloomberg\u2019s reps declined to comment.<\/p>\n
