Their fast-casual spot will be called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ramblinchickbklyn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ramblin\u2019 Chick<\/a> with a menu that also includes chicken hot dogs steamed in root beer, chicken chili, chicken cheesesteaks, sloppy joes, fries, and soft serve shakes. The duo doesn\u2019t have a space yet, but they\u2019re hoping to open in Gowanus. <\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">In the meantime, Strong is hosting a preview of Ramblin\u2019 Chick at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.no7restaurant.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">No. 7<\/a> (627 Vanderbilt Avenue, at St. Marks Avenue) on Tuesday, July 22, for a menu that includes the smash burger, chicken dogs, chicken nuggets with Ramblin\u2019 sauce, shoestring fries, mac and cheese topped with pretzel-potato chip crumble, and a chopped kale salad. Tickets are $50 and <a href=\"https:\/\/andreastrong.substack.com\/p\/whats-next-for-the-couple-behind\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">require a subscription to her Substack. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>An ABC News analyst is opening a wine bar<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Former owner John DeLucie of<a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2015\/12\/23\/10657704\/the-lion-nyc-closed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> ultra-exclusive the Lion<\/a>, previously in Greenwich Village, and Tribeca\u2019s White Street (which featured the late <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2016\/11\/7\/13549704\/white-street-closed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Floyd Cardoz<\/a> in the kitchen), is opening a wine bar at 46 W. 22nd Street. Abrams \u2014 the chief legal analyst of <a href=\"https:\/\/abc7chicago.com\/dan-abrams-abc-news-on-patrol-live-reelz\/12063925\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">On Patrol: Live<\/a> \u2014 is opening Danny\u2019s, an American wine bistro, in the fall. The restaurant will showcase lesser-known wines from around the U.S., notes <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/06\/28\/society\/abc-news-chief-legal-analyst-dan-abrams-to-open-new-nyc-restaurant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Page Six<\/a>, from wineries in New York, Virginia, Texas, Colorado, and Michigan. No word yet on who the chef will be. <\/p>\n<p>Ilis debuts a more casual summer menu<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Mads Reflund of Greenpoint\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2024\/1\/22\/24043047\/ilis-greenpoint-review\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ilis<\/a> is opening the French doors and offering a less-formal summer menu. It will be four courses for $85 as of July 1 through September. Dishes could include items like fresh cheese with peas and almonds; squid with beans; quail with summer squash and spinale, and berries with amazake. (There\u2019s also a seven-course menu for $148 and wine pairing options.) The price <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2024\/1\/22\/24043047\/ilis-greenpoint-review\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">is about half <\/a>of the average price for a tasting at Ilis during the year. \u201cPeople want lighter meals during the summer,\u201d says Reflund.
