A cozy cat caf\u00e9 opened its doors this week in Camden County, giving customers a chance to relax with feline friends while enjoying snacks, beverages, games and Wi-Fi<\/p>\n
Calico Cat Caf\u00e9<\/a>, located at 918 Route 30 in the borough of Oaklyn, held a grand opening on Wednesday, Oct. 1.<\/p>\n The caf\u00e9 in Camden County features a rotating family of eight to 10 rescue cats that visitors can interact with in a specially designed lounge area.<\/p>\n All cats at the caf\u00e9 have been rescued and rehabilitated, and are available for adoption to loving homes. <\/p>\n The caf\u00e9 serves as a temporary home for these animals while they await permanent placement.<\/p>\n Visitors can book sessions of either 30 minutes for $12 or a full hour for $20 to visit with the cats.<\/p>\n Prices include interaction with friendly cats, comfortable seating in a cat lounge, free WiFi service, cat toys to play with and board games to enjoy.<\/p>\n The caf\u00e9 also offers a special ramen bundle deal that includes instant ramen with admission at a discounted price.<\/p>\n The ramen is normally $5, but when customers bundle it with a visit they save $2. <\/p>\n The price for a half-hour visit and ramen costs $15. A one-hour visit and ramen is $23.<\/p>\n The caf\u00e9\u2019s interior features artwork created by local volunteers, showcasing community involvement in the project. <\/p>\n To ensure the health and safety of the cats, visitors are asked to follow the caf\u00e9 rules.<\/p>\n Customers must use hand sanitizer before entering and allow cats to approach them rather than forcing interaction.
